The city being among one of the easiest states to get married in United States creates a perfect immersive wedding atmosphere. If you’re planning to get married in Las Vegas, though, it would be best to make a to-do list that will cover everything you need and help you achieve the wedding of your dreams.
It doesn’t matter whether you do it at a grand venue or you do it in an unknown—yet legal—wedding chapel. There’s still a lot of things to keep an eye on, including the date, guests, and the budget. Sure, it might not be a big wedding, but it should still be the wedding of your dreams.
Set Your Budget
Everything kicks off with your budget. Establishing it before you start is crucial, especially considering the fact that not everyone has mountains of money to burn. This is even more relevant in the current climate. As the city may have more fun-filled events which comes at a price, setting a budget should be a top priority. Number of Guests
It can be just you and your partner if you are planning an elopement wedding, but if it’s the conventional wedding, chances are there will be at least a small number of guests. Create a wedding registry for them all, and inform them beforehand. Discuss any extra costs that the trip might accrue, and contact guests who haven’t RSVP’d yet in advance so you can know the number early.
Venue and Vendors
You can make a list of your favorite Las Vegas wedding venues and wedding chapels and pick one to marry in. It’s the smart move because there are many venues out there, and you can’t just leave it all to chance. You should decide on it months before, check out the sites and wedding rules, then contact the venue and talk more about your proposed date and plans.
Travel Arrangements
One of the most important things for planning Vegas weddings are the travel arrangements. If it’s just 2 people, it’s easy. But, if you’re planning a smaller wedding with family and friends, travel arrangements are of utmost importance. Make sure to get a date that suits everybody, and organize the whole thing with transportation to and from your wedding ceremony in advance.
Wedding Attire
We all know how important attire is for weddings. You will need to decide on a dress code, or just leave it out. Either way, you should give it a thought and let everyone know what you’ve decided. For example, if you want a black wedding, you’ll have to let others know in advance so they can suit up properly.
More importantly, you need to plan your wedding dress and the groom’s attire up front. Pick outfits for the bridal party too – that’s another thing to keep in mind. This should all be done at the earliest so you can give everyone the time to prepare properly.

Bridal parties are important, even if most people will advise you against if you’re having a more intimate wedding. But, that’s completely down to you. You’re only marrying once in your life so it would be cool to spend a wild night out with friends before that happens. Las Vegas is probably the wildest place in the world for that. If you want to have a bridal party no one can stop you, but you need to make plans for it earlier. It doesn’t even have to be a big party – pick your closest friends and have fun.
Music and Entertainment
Do you want a wedding DJ or a band? Or you simply want to let the venue provide the entertainment? That’s something you’ll want to put on your Vegas to-do wedding list. Bands are pretty busy, so the earliest you sign them up for your wedding, the better. You don’t want to leave this late and stay without the entertainment spectacle.
